Synopsis
No Autumn, No Spring depicts modern day Guayaquil City and its invisible generation. Iván Mora Manzano’s punk ballad of rebellion, confrontation and the disenfranchised reveals the tribulations of young men and women who struggle deeply with the transition from adolescence to adulthood.
Ernesto, a biologist who lives with his mother, spends his days teaching at the university and waiting for his chrysalis to grow. One day everything is different, something suddenly changes.
Afraid to face upcoming parenthood and the ultimate deadline for his long-awaited novel, a once-promising writer develops a crush on a defiant muse, the 16-year-old girl next door, and escapes into a second adolescence, alienating his partner and those who care about him.
