Natsuki has a scent fetish. On New Year's Eve, she is visited by Takano and confesses her feelings for him. When her close friend Misako turns up, Natsuki sniffs her hair and makes a discovery.

Feeling alone in a world where everyone looks exactly the same, a young girl decides to take extreme measures to change her appearance.

The proximity of two floors is close, but they are worlds apart. We think secrets are safe behind closed doors, but they're not. What we consider a safe boundary for secrets is broken through the perspective of a window cleaner.

Often enough we find ourselves stuck with that empty spot in our soul, the spot we long to fill with the presence of others, and some noise, even. But as we struggle to get ourselves out in the midst of crowd, we then realise that more does not always mean merrier; sometimes it only escalates the loneliness, and all the noise around us cannot beat the loud sound of silence inside our head.

Hye-won has devoted her whole life to preparing for her university entrance exam. On the day of the exam however, she oversleeps. She reflects on the path she has taken so far and falls into the most peaceful sleep.

She is a deaf woman working in an iron shop in a small industrial area. She can only hear buzzes, as if she was deep underwater. Everyday, she just feels woozy sounds with the eyes from many strangers in a crowded subway station, and on the busy street of industrial complex with loud noises. She doesn’t feel uncomfortable because it’s just her daily life.

A young girl is raised as a killer in the Yanbian province of China. She hides her identity and travels to South Korea where she hopes to lead a quiet life but becomes involved with two mysterious men.

Carrying a mixed bag of ambivalence and possibilities, her new independence shares the upsides and downsides of a subsistence living in the enclave of artists and musicians, where the strains of life – dissatisfaction with the government and an ever-looming threat of eviction – are tempered by a healthy dose of optimism and humour. The habitat of Fish and company may not be the land of la dolce vita but it’s an oasis of dreams in a desert of reality, however transient and haphazard.
