In preparation for the moon landing in 1969, NASA sent a team of astronauts to the lunar landscapes of Iceland. Their hi-tech training mission soon discovers what obstacles one can meet when facing an Icelandic sheep farmer.

Once a year the quiet small fishing village Neskaupstaður on the east coast of Iceland is invaded by hoards of metal fans who are attending Eistnaflug, Iceland´s only heavy metal festival. Many of the largest metal bands have played at the festival. It´s known for it´s unique athmosphere. That´s why many call it the annual celebration of metal fans.

The Sea Baron is a cinema verité-styled documentary set in a restaurant by the old Reykjavík harbour, where the legendary sailor Kjartan Halldórsson, who spent decades cooking at sea on vessels of all sizes, started a fishmarket by himself in an old baiting house. Without obtaining any official permit and due to popular demand, he started cooking too and soon had a lively restaurant which is by now one of the most prosperous in Iceland, with top reviews in the NY Times and international media; one of Reykjavík’s landmarks. Guðrún is a ten year old girl. One day at school she is called in to the principal´s office. The principal informs her that her S.U.V. burnet to the ground earlier that same morning. While Guðrún spends recess trying to figure out what the principal had meant, an investigation on the alleged arson is taking place and Guðrún is the main suspect.

Art Direction
A student in politics, Jón, is covering for his friend from school as an assistant in the kitchen of a remotely situated home for the disabled for one weekend. Strange working procedures at the home come to Jón´s attention. Disputes seem to be resolved by a secret voting and Jón thinks democracy is threatened. But all is not what it seems.
