Sinopsis
Basada en el best seller autobiográfico de Frank McCourt. Ángela y Malachy McCourt abandonan Nueva York en la época de la Gran Depresión (años 30) y regresan a su Irlanda natal. Pero su situación no mejora por dos razones: por un lado, la crisis que sigue a la independencia, y, por otro, el alcoholismo de Malachy, que dilapida en los bares lo poco que gana.
