Lady Ninja Kasumi 7: Damned Village (2009)

The story revolves around a man named Takuma who works under the legendary samurai Sanada Yukimura teaching a secret technique called “Kakure Musou”. A woman, played by Asami (Sukeban Boy, The Machine Girl), eventually makes a special medicine that helps him recover from his affliction. The conflict between the Toyotomis and the Tokugawas has grown more intense. Kasumi and Shizu, a maid of the Kosuges, fall for each other, but Shizu is attacked by Jako's Kouga ninjas. Kasumi wages an intense battle with them, but soon finds out Shizu's dark secret. In 16th century feudal Japan the war between the Iga clan and the Kouga clan continues unabated. Typically for such violent disputes it is the women who suffer the most – in this case lowly castrated Kouga clan ninjas are kidnapping woman from their rivals’ lands and transporting them back to their own, with the intent to use them as concubines. Unfortunately for a trio of inept Kouga ninjas, one of the women they’ve kidnapped is Kisaragi (Rina Takeda), a skilled ninja with a long standing vendetta since her mother was kidnapped when she was just a baby.

During Japan's feudal era, Mitsuhide Akechi worked to foil Nobunaga Oda's ambition for the unification of the entire country. To this end, Akechi had his eyes set on many of Oda's vassals, including leyasu Tokugawa. To protect Tokugawa's life, the kunoichi Kaede is sent to keep an eye on him as he travels through the mountains of Igo. Kasumi has continued her battles as a Sanada ninja to defeat the Tokugawas. Feeling her fatigue, her master, Muhu, allows her time for rest. On the way to her hometown to see her brother, Kotaro, Kasumi meets Toyo, who heads to Okusawa Village to see her fiancé, Yohei. Invited by her, Kasumi decides to stop by Okusawa, as she feels a great comfort she's never felt before with Toyo's innocence and honesty. Yosuke, the village chief of Okusawa welcomes the two; however, Yohei looks grim as he sees Toyo. In fact, the village has been controlled by Yosuke by using drugs. Toyo is raped by villagers, and soon Kasumi becomes a victim, too. Kasumi now stands up to save Toyo and exterminate the terrible fortunes of the village.

Once again, Lady Ninja Kasumi is a candidate for a dangerous mission that will use all of her abilities as both a kunoichi and a woman. Her clan elder approaches a specific former member of their group, Sakichi, for his aid in the matter. Unfortunately, due to a tragedy and a lost love, he is unwilling to lend his help to the Sanada ninja, and Kasumi volunteers to handle the matter. Ultimately, she is captured and it is up to Sakichi to help her get to safety... but not before she settles the score with a rival lady ninja.

It's been two years since Kasumi chose the Kunoichi lifestyle and she now has a new enemy in Hattori Hanzo. Hanzo's wish is to penetrate the Ueda castle. So he enlists his own Kunoichi to seduce the gatekeeper, probing him for security loopholes.
