En el ojo del huracán es el segundo DVD de la banda de Hard rock La Renga. Es el primero en salir independientemente de los CD. El ojo del huracán es un show presentación del álbum Detonador de sueños, pero a pesar de ello en la lista de ese recital no suenan todos los temas del CD faltando "El rastro de la conciencia", "Estado" y "En los brazos del sol". Esa noche en Huracán, se tocaron 5 canciones que fueron excluidas del DVD (Lo frágil de la locura, Bien alto, Cuando vendrán, El twist del pibe y Veneno). Todavía no hay una teoría concreta del porque faltan dichas canciones, se dice que por el esplandor dela voz del Chizzo, por falta de tiempo y también porque en dichas canciones se utilizaron bengalas por parte del publico, a lo que la banda ha decidido retirarlo del DVD por lo ocurrido en "Cromagnon".

The concert footage featured on the standard edition of the set was directed by Paul Becher, who has overseen live visuals for McCartney for over 200 performances. The performances were shot in high definition using 15 cameras and digital footage incorporated from 75 flipcams handed out to fans over the course of the three night stand.[ The audio mix, in both stereo and 5.1, was handled by longtime Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick, and also longtime McCartney engineer Paul Hicks, whose credits include the recent Beatles remasters, The Beatles Anthology and Let It Be... Naked, and two Grammy awards for his mixing work on the Beatles' Love album.
