Carole's Mother
La colorista obra maestra de Pécas, con la bella Sandra Julien, una belleza glacial como la un maniquí viviente. Una película sobre los deseos más ocultos del subconsciente, marcada por la mejor muestra de la imaginación sexual de Max Pécas.
French documentary on the world of a brain-damaged, physically-handicapped child confined to a wheel chair, unable to speak but trying desperately to communicate with his nurse and the other children in the hospital. It chronicles his friendship with another youngster even more crippled than himself, their joy in being together, their little spats and, finally, the termination of their friendship by death. Directed by Pierre Jallaud, it is a remarkable achievement, treating its subject creatively yet with complete integrity. There is no commentary, no dialogue, only the natural sounds of the children and their environment.
An essay on what provokes the "object woman".
La patronne de l'hôtel
The film is a road movie that follows a middle aged man who gives a young woman a lift. On the car radio, news bulletins warn the population against a recently escaped sadist who is known to prey on young women and children. Lelouch often cuts away from the main story, if only briefly, to parallel events that are not necessarily crucial to the story but illustrate what is suggested by the radio.
