Ambientado en Montreal durante el fenómeno disco hace unos 35 años, Funkytown sigue la vida de un grupo de coloridos personajes. Seguimos sus vidas y tribulaciones mientras todos convergen regularmente en el lugar disco de Montreal: Starlight. En el camino, ocurren varios eventos que cambian la vida de estos personajes. A medida que las vidas de estos personajes se desarrollan, el Parti Québécois toma el poder cambiando el paisaje cultural en Quebec, mientras que la moda disco se desvanece lentamente. Mientras nos mantenemos al día con estos diversos personajes, es Bastien quien es una parte central de esta historia. Su drogadicción, sus sueños de convertirse en actor y su mujeriego lo convierten en el personaje típico de los años 70 "más grande que la vida" alrededor del cual gira toda la historia.

The Woman
This fairytale, with characters as scary as your worst nightmare, is set in an unknown world. Mecanix tells the story of where the last human beings are forced to be the slaves of the strange creatures that rule this strange world. There is only one thing these beasts fear - the embryo of the universe : the origin of everything. The only hope that the humans have is to free themselves from this mechanic environment before they all die. The embryo that the beasts fear is hidden in the last freeborn man. The scientist helping the beasts must vivisect every human of the planet to stop this embryo from growing, and destroy it forever.
