Un grupo de técnicos y actores están filmando una película de terror. Al terminar el rodaje, el director los convoca a su casa para ver el primer corte del film. En cierto momento notan que están viendo escenas que ellos no filmaron. De la sorpresa pasan al terror absoluto cuando al morir en la película uno de los actores, también muere en la realidad. Los espectadores del film van a tener que sobrevivir a la película o perecer dentro y fuera de ella.
