George Lam 40th Anniversary Concert

Canto-pop veteran George Lam teamed up with renowned musician Chiu Tsang Hei for their well-received A Mix & Match Concert last year in which they revisited numerous favorites and reworked many classics. Some of the songs collected are "Every Single Night," "Some Love Songs," "Reminisce," "Who Would Understand Me" and also the duet "Needing You Every Minute" featuring George Lam's son Alex Lam.

Handover year 1997 sees much drama for Joy (Gigi Leung), the chief financial officer of a big company. When a man is hired to enhance a fashion show, he decides to go to a puppeteer and use Chinese puppets as accents to the models and the clothes. His interest in the show becomes a personal one when he meets one of the models and romance blossoms. An old woman loans him her antique puppets on the condition that he not keep them in the house with him, or grave misfortunes will result. As one might expect, he ignores the warning and then starts to experience a few accidents and unusual occurrences - including being knocked out by what he thought was a puppet, and seeing flashes of a murder while he was unconscious.

A private investigator and a police inspector team up to pursue a notorious mobster, who is plotting to milk an old millionaire out of his highly-valued stocks and bonds. Along the way, the investigator crosses paths with a femme fatale and silly gangsters.

The film is about Fen, who hangs out with four total losers who are in "Macho Man" tank tops and what happens. Ching Li plays Selina, who is a commercial director who hires him.

A real murder case which was complicated by the ménage à trois relationship the victim had with the main suspects. As different witnesses narrated their conflicting stories, the case seemed set to lead to nowhere; especially when the real identity of the dead person was finally discovered.
