París, 1985. Vanessa tiene trece años cuando conoce a Gabriel Matzneff, un hombre muy inteligente y manipulador. El reconocido escritor de cincuenta años seduce a la joven. La adolescente se convierte en la amante y musa de un hombre celebrado por el mundo cultural y político.
