La más extraña y ardiente relación amorosa entre un contrabandista ciego y una muchacha de quien él está enamorado.

Debido a los problemas familiares, Cristina vive en una angustia constante, cuya primera víctima es su padre que muere asesinado. Se inicia entonces, una pesadilla para la muchacha.

Con humor y sátira se revelan como profesionales los desarrolladores y piratas que emergen como candidatos del pueblo. Están detrás de la figura del candidato Climaco Urrutia U.

While attending the birth of Isabel, the wife of foreigner Felipe, Mama Santos predicts that "something terrible is going to happen in the town." From this omen, calamities will torment the locals.

In the begining of 20th century, after the "thousand days war", the country was devastated. Gunmen to the service of land lords attack small land owners to get their lands. Aquileo is the only one who survives, and promises to take revenge on the killers.

A client arrives to a jewelry store in Bogotá, he choose a gem and pays it no matter the cost of it. He asks the manager to keep the gem in the store during the weekend. Meanwhile, a band of professional thieves plans the theft to the store without imagining that the fate of death surrounds them, and all beacuse of a red light.

A mysterious and wandering gunman faces hostility from Indians and whites, inhabitants of fields and towns whose place and time are also a mystery.
