His story follows a schoolgirl named Akari Tokimiya and the fantastical adventure which occurs when she visits the memorial service of her grandfather Kenzo, a master special effects man. She has unhappy memories of the old man and his passion projects, the last of which he died during the making of. At the memorial service, she meets classmate Takuya, a tokusatsu superfan, and a strange person named Hozumi, the star of the movie Kenzo was making when he died. Hozumi has with him a prop from the film, the titular “Brush of the God,” which transports Akari and Takuya into the world of the movie where they face fearsome Kaiju, including the legendary Yamata-no-orochi who is attempting to destroy everything. If they are to survive and get back to their homes, Akari and Takuya must find out the secret of the movie.

翌日にせまった文化祭の準備に追われ、先勝美術大学の校内は、学生たちの熱気と喧騒に包まれていた。そんな中、例年通り文化祭で展示も発表もしない映画研究会の部室だけは、いつもと同じように、まったりとした時間が流れていた。しかしその朝「部室の片隅に何かある」という不思議な夢を見たサラ（小川紗良）は、本当に古い段ボール箱を見つけてしまった！その中には古い脚本と演出ノート、1本の16mmフィルムが入っていた。そのタイトルは「夢みる人」。さっそく映写してみるが、なぜかその映画は未完のままだった。そこにふらりと表れたOBのタクミ先輩（斎藤工）は、彼らに「これは撮ろうとすると必ず何か恐ろしいことが起こる、OB達の間ではいわくつきの映画だ」と告げる。しかしこの映画にすっかり魅せられたサラは「これ、私たちでやってみない？」と部員たちに猛アピール。監督はサラが担い、プロデューサーはリコ（藤谷理子）、撮影はカミオ（神尾楓珠）、録音にウチダ（内田倭史）、衣裳とメイクはシエリ（ヒロシエリ）、助監督とその他雑用をモリタ（森田甘路）が担当し、一致団結してはじめての映画制作への挑戦が始まる･･･が、部員たちは次々に予期せぬ困難やトラブルに見舞われる。
やがて、資金は底をつき、準備していたクラウドファンディングも大失敗。。

However, on 28 February 1972, the police finds Shintaro seriously injured and a young man working in a electronics store (Saito Takumi) dead in a bungalow at Karuizawawhile Fumiko and Hinako are also present at the scene. The truth behind the case is not known and the case is quickly classified as a crime of passion which leads to Fumiko being sent to prison. 40 years later, a report writer Torigai Mitsuhiko (Watabe Atsuro) comes to know about this case and goes to interview the elderly Fumiko (Harada Mieko) in prison which leads him to find out what really happened at the bungalow.

The movie is based on an autobiographical book titled “Tokyo Furyou Shounen Densetsu.” The book was written by Endo Natsuki, who was once affiliated with the biker team and band COOLS that was formed in the 1970s by Tachi Hiroshi (61) and Iwaki Koichi (60). The story for the film takes place at a technical high school in the 1970s, where it is said that half of the school’s 3,000 students are juvenile delinquents. Saito plays a student named Sendo, who is aiming to be number one out of all of them. Naturally, the movie will incorporate a lot of action scenes as he brawls his way to the top.
Reiji Mitsurugi (Miles Edgeworth)
