松田コウジ（高橋一生）の父・雅人（リリー・フランキー）は、ギャンブルで借金を作って13年前に姿を消し、見つかったときには余命3か月だった。母の洋子（神野三鈴）と兄のヨシユキ（斎藤工）は見舞いを拒むが、幼いころ父とキャッチボールをした思い出があるコウジは入院先を訪ねる。しかし家族の溝は埋まらないまま、雅人は帰らぬ人となり……。

幅広い交流と広範な知識に裏打ちされた審美眼で、文芸のみならず、相撲、政治などさまざまな分野での評論活動を行っている評論家＆エッセイストの坪内祐三。
本作は週刊誌など多くの雑誌連載を持つ坪内祐三の代表作の一つで、｢小説現代｣で2007年から執筆をスタートし今なお連載を続け、昨年2014年に続編も刊行されたエッセイ「酒中日記」が原作。
人はどのように酒を飲み、友と何を語るかをテーマに、坪内本人が主演をつとめ、実際なじみにしている酒場をめぐり歩く。
新宿ゴールデン街の〈しん亭〉や文壇バー〈猫目〉、太宰治の小説のモデルになったママが営む文壇バー〈風紋〉、名高い文化人を多く顧客に持つ銀座の文壇バー〈ザボン〉、これらの由緒ある酒場を舞台に坪内が日頃交遊している文人たちとお酒を酌み交わし本音で語り明かす。
重松 清、都築響一、亀和田 武、杉作Ｊ太郎、中原昌也、康 芳夫、南 伸坊、中野 翠といった個性豊かな面々が集まり独自の談議に花を咲かせ、飾らない素顔を垣間見せる。

A woman is being sexually assaulted by a pair of thugs, when out of the fog appear the High Heeled Cats – a trio of avenging angels, masked and dressed in black. These beautiful vigilantes make a living running a coffee shop by day, and kicking misogynist criminals in the balls by night. Their boss is an elderly lady offering a payback service to women who have been mistreated by men. The cops can’t be seen to allow this kind of behavior, but they are increasingly frustrated with the lack of clues that might lead to the identity of the trio – despite the fact that the two detectives on the case visit the coffee shop daily, to flirt with and grope the waitresses, and drink the occasional cup of coffee. The high heeled honeys eventually bite off more than they can chew when they get on the bad side of a ruthless gangster, who sets a creepy assassin on their trail.
Sanryu-san
An anthology film based on the works of manga artist Yoshiharu Tsuge. The main character in all four segments is a fledgling cartoonist named Tsube . In the first segment, Tsube encounters a dotty old man named Ri after renting a tumble-down cottage in the country. The following day, Ri, his equally weird wife, and his two squalid children move into his house. Soon the wife is stealing the cucumbers in his garden while the two kids devour all the food in the house.
