いしいひさいち原作による四コマ漫画をベースに、平凡な日本の家族像を様々なエピソードを織りまぜて、ユーモラスに描いた長篇アニメーション。監督・脚色は「平成狸合戦ぽんぽこ」の高畑勲。撮影を「もののけ姫」の奥井敦が担当している。声の出演に朝丘雪路の他、多彩な顔ぶれ。

佐木隆三の同名ノンフィクションを、「神々の深き欲望」の今村昌平監督が映画化。5人を殺害し全国を逃走した男の、犯罪を積み重ねた生い立ち、数々の女性遍歴と父との相克を描く。日豊本線築橋駅近くで専売公社のタバコ集金に回っていた柴田種次郎、馬場大八の惨殺死体が発見され、現金41万円余が奪われていた。やがて、かつてタバコ配給に従事した運転手・榎津厳が容疑者として浮かんだ……。

Chotaro and Nakanishi, a duo of unemployed advertisers, drifted to Isehama, a port town near Yokohama, but a gang was making its presence felt in the town and the shopkeepers in the shopping arcade were troubled by it. Chotaro poses as a journalist and uses his words of wisdom to suggest that pen is mightier than the sword, so they create a mini-comic magazine and launch a campaign to expel the gang.

「男はつらいよ」シリーズ第7作。寅さんの母・お菊（ミヤコ蝶々）が、久しぶりに柴又を訪れる。そこへ寅さんが帰郷し、さくらと共に、お菊の宿泊先の帝国ホテルに向かうが、子供のように愚行を重ねる寅さんに、お菊は愛想を尽かす。旅に出た寅さんは、三島で東北なまりの少女、太田花子（榊原るみ）と出会い、知的障害を持つその身を案じるが・・・

野村芳太郎監督の人情喜劇。北海道から上京してきた萩本欽一扮する青年と、坂上二郎扮する都電の運転手との嫁取り話。舞台は都電というところがこの映画のみどころでもある。今陽子はキラーズをようして「星空のロマンス」と「恋人の讃歌」を熱唱。そして皆川おさむがピンキーとともにでて「黒猫のタンゴ」を二人で歌っている。また坂上二郎の昔の恋人役で中山千夏が出てきて「あなたの心に」が流れる。そして、この年に丸善石油の宣伝「おーモーレツ！」で一世風靡した小川ローザも出演している。

「男はつらいよ」シリーズ第2作。車寅次郎（渥美清）は、弟分の登（津坂匡章）と北海道へ出発する前にふらりと葛飾商業学校時代の英語の恩師・坪内先生（東野英治郎）の家を訪ねた。先生の娘・夏子（佐藤オリエ）に一目惚れした寅次郎は浮かれてしまい、先生宅で飲み食いが過ぎ病院に担ぎ込まれてしまう。入院先の病院でトラブルを起こして脱走。さらに、舎弟の登と焼肉店で無銭飲食と店長の男性に暴力をふるい、警察に連行された。さすがにいたたまれなくなった寅次郎は北海道の仕事もうまくいかずに関西の京都へたどり着く。

Zatoichi is forced to kill a young man who owes a debt to a yakuza boss. Moments later, his sister Osode arrives with the money she earned (prostituting herself) to pay his debts. The bosses true motives are revealed and he attempts to steal Osode even though the debt is paid. Zatoichi realizes his grievous error and protects the girl from the gang. Osode and Zatoichi are caught in a dilemma as she must rely on her brother's killer for protection and Zatoichi wrestles with the injustice he has caused.

Subu makes pornographic films. He sees nothing wrong with it. They are an aid to a repressed society, and he uses the money to support his landlady, Haru, and her family. From time to time, Haru shares her bed with Subu, though she believes her dead husband, reincarnated as a carp, disapproves. Director Shohei Imamura has always delighted in the kinky exploits of lowlifes, and in this 1966 classic, he finds subversive humor in the bizarre dynamics of Haru, her Oedipal son, and her daughter, the true object of her pornographer-boyfriend’s obsession. Imamura’s comic treatment of such taboos as voyeurism and incest sparked controversy when the film was released, but The Pornographers has outlasted its critics, and now seems frankly ahead of its time.

Abare inu is a 1965 action-comedy film directed by Kazuo Mori. It is the fourth film in the series.

After losing all his money, Kizuka Keita, a seller on the black market, is trying to commit suicide. But he is saved by Morigen, a broker on the azuki beans market. A young man tries to regain his wealth in the bean market.

A young girl knows that she is going to die and in this she is supported by the devotion of the boy who loves her. They originally met at the hospital. There it transpired that the only way to save her life was to sacrifice an eye and part of her face. The operation seems a success. Later, however, her other eye becomes affected. She feels she must let the boy go, and yet she depends so much upon his devotion.

深川で運送業を営む木場政組は、ライバルである沖山運送の妨害工作に悩まされていた。争いを好まぬ木場政が病死したことから、沖山運送はますます勢力を伸ばしていく。除隊し組に帰ってきた辰巳の長吉は、組が小さくなっていくことに心を痛める。木場政の子分である赤電車の鉄が、沖山兄弟の手により殺害される事件が発生するが、沖山はすでに警察署長や代議士を抱えていた。木場政に恩義のある客分の清治は、日に日にエスカレートする沖山運送の営業妨害を許すことができず、一人で沖山組に殴り込みをかけるが、逆に返り討ちに遭ってしまう。

アメリカから恋人がやって来た―。昭和38年5月、文楽の人形遣い吉田小玉と結婚したイーデス・ハンソンの話にヒントを得て、松山善三が原作を執筆、林秀彦のシナリオにより川頭義郎監督がメガホンを取ったラブコメディ。主演のエルザ・ハドソン役には大阪弁が達者なタレントとして人気のあったイーデス・ハンソン自身が初主演し、吉田小吉役に藤山寛美、その父に笠智衆、彼女が下宿する家のおばさん（小吉の叔母）役にミヤコ蝶々らがキャスティングされた。ニッポン通の金髪娘が巻き起こす結婚騒動が描かれる。

Futari dake no toride

元海軍中佐の前田時造は郊外にある、エレベーターのない団地の一室に住んでいる。時造には妻と二人の子供がおり、芸能プロダクションで勤める息子の実と、流行作家の愛人である娘の友子を使って金を稼いでいた。実は会社の経理である三谷幸枝と深い仲にあったが、幸枝から別れを切り出されてしまう。念願だった旅館の開業が決まったので、彼女は芸能プロダクションも辞めるというのだ。

A country boss gives up his way of life because of his daughter's marriage.

Two obaachans become fast friends listening to music in front of a record store. They both boast about their loving sons but in reality, one had just escaped a retirement home and the other was looking for an escape from her son and daughter-in-law. With nowhere to go, the two wander around, befriending a cosmetics salesman and a kind waitress who give them beer. This biting social satire starring two memorable grandmothers, scripted by Yôko Mizuki, picked up on Japan’s aging population problem far ahead of its time.
