Danny Ocean, a master swindler, is serving time, but on this day he is approved to be released on parole. On the same day, his wife's lawyer pays him a visit, divorce papers in hand. His wife Tess has been selected to star in a show at a hotel to be built by the Las Vegas magnate Terry Benedict.

This play is based on “The Makropulos Case”, written by the famous Czech writer Karel Čapek. As usual, Takarazuka has added their own spin to the original story; the most notable change in this play is that the genders of most of the major characters have been reversed. (In the original play, the main character is a woman.

Set in the turbulent 18th century Europe, where power and intrigue swirled around him, this musical depicts his love, friendship, and courageous battle for his beliefs on a grand scale, involving a variety of characters.

First of the three musicals based on Ace Attorney video games series. The plot itself is heavily based upon that of Rise from the Ashes, but changed so that it is more personal to the lead character, Phoenix Wright.
