深田恭子と瀬戸康史が演じる、泥棒一家の娘と警察一家の息子の禁断の恋をコミカルに描いたドラマシリーズの劇場版。 泥棒一家“Lの一族”の娘として生まれた三雲華（深田恭子）と警察一家の息子の桜庭和馬（瀬戸康史）は、娘の杏（小畑乃々）を連れて遅めの新婚旅行でディーベンブルク王国を訪れる。しかし、そこで最後の大仕事のためにやって来た華の家族と遭遇。あきれる華だったが、杏が誘拐され、犯人からあるお宝を交換条件として要求される。さらに、死んだとされていた一族のひとり、三雲玲（観月ありさ）が現れる。

Shimajiro, who helped an injured baby whale Kuu-chan, takes care of Kuu-chan who wants to return to her mother and keeps her in touch. In order to return Ku-chan, who was about to be sent to the aquarium, to her mother, Shimajiro rides on her back and sets out on a journey toward the southern sea.

An elementary student named Junichi is having trouble returning an eraser he borrowed from his secret crush, Maeda. With the support and encouragement of rookie teacher Anna-sensei, Junichi gets over his shyness and starts a band with his classmates.

Hana, 21-year old, is sent to a mental hospital for attempting a suicide. She suffers from hearing a deep male voice in her head almost everyday that goes, "Twenty yards of linen are worth one coat..." She gradually regains her peace of mind by traveling across Kyushu dragging with her Nagoyan, a guy from Nagoya who is suffering from depression. They take on their journey on Nagoyan's old faithful car, Luce.

One of the most wildly creative filmmakers working in Japan today, Ishii Katsuhito seems to take joy in dropping whimsical, unpredictable works onto unsuspecting audiences. Dark Tales of Japan is a collection of five short horror films that are directed by five notable Japanese film directors, which are told by a mysterious old lady in kimono on a late-night bus traveling on a long isolated mountain road.

When a promising young boxer is crippled in a car accident, he falls into a life of dissipation and depression. No boxing ring or martial arts club will take him on -- that is, until an aiki jujitsu master helps the young man develop techniques uniquely tailored to a wheelchair. What starts off as a sad film revs up into an exciting and fun series of epiphanies in which the young man realizes his situation isn't as hopeless as it seems.
