数多くの映画や民放各局の連ドラが制作されている撮影所、「バイプレウッド」。そこで田口トモロヲ(田口トモロヲ)、松重豊(松重豊)、光石研(光石研)、遠藤憲一(遠藤憲一)らは、有村架純(有村架純)主演のネット連ドラの撮影に参加する。しかし、有村が共演する犬の風の姿が見えなくなったことから現場は不穏な空気に包まれる。やがて、自主制作する映画のトラブルに悩む濱田岳(濱田岳)やバイプレウッド買収阻止を図る天海祐希(天海祐希)らが巻き起こす騒動も絡み、事態は思わぬ方向に向かう。
Set along the river basin of Shimane Prefeture's Takatsu River, a government-protected river, this drama portrays various people living in an area burdened by decreasing population as they carry on the tradition of "Kagura" Shinto music and dance which is said to be the roots of Kabuki. Directing from his own screenplay is Nishikori Yoshinari of Railways. Saito Manabu (Komoto Masahiro) operates a ranch on a mountain and worries his son Tatsuya (Ishikawa Raizo) has been making a habit of skipping Kagura practice. Then Manabu learns his alma mater elementary school will be closed down.

DANGER DOLLS follows a quartet of cute idol singers who moonlight as butt-kicking action heroines. When extraterrestrial invaders threaten the safety of the Earth after an earthquake unleashes them from an alternate dimension, the Danger Dolls become humanity's only hope for survival. The team infiltrates the evil cult behind the invasion and must use their swords and their fists to smash the invading army.
物語の時期は明確ではないが、朝倉いずみ5年目途中から6年目途中の間に物語が始まったと考えられる。 根本が看護部長専任になっており、新婦長の矢口が着任している。大島が第2子を妊娠中で産休前であった。 劇中でかなりの期間が経過している。ラストで翔子が婦長に、産休から復帰した大島が主任に昇進している。 病院側スタッフの出演者から見ると、パート3の後日談であるが、このすぐ後に放映されたパート4にも尾崎婦長・大島主任の設定がそのまま引き継がれたり、一部の患者が引き続き入院しているところから、パート4の、そう離れていない時期の前日談にも相当している。処置室、ICUは救命病棟24時第二シリーズのセットが使われている。

This made-for-video documentary gives animation fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Metropolis, the film adaptation of classic manga artist Osamu Tezuka's vision of a future society where humans and humanoid robots live in uneasy coexistence. Also included are interviews with the voice actors and other members of the crew, who share their experiences from making the film and discuss some of the special efforts that went into it.

近未来。人間とロボットが共存する巨大都市国家メトロポリスは、有力者・レッド公の超高層ビル“ジグラット”のオープンにわきたっていた。ところが、そのビルこそ世界征服を企むレッド公の野望の拠点となるべき城砦でもあったのだ。そして、その最上階に座るロボット守護神・ティマが、臓器売買、生体実験の罪で国際手配されているロートン博士の手によって今まさに完成されようとしていた。しかしその直前、ロートン博士はレッド公の養子で、世界の支配権をロボットに委ねることをよしとしないロックによって殺害され、研究所も破壊されてしまう。ただティマだけは、ロートン博士を追って日本からやって来た私立探偵・伴俊作の甥・ケンイチによって炎の中から助け出され、メトロポリスの地下へと逃げ延び、そして地下生活の中で、ティマとケンイチは人間として心を通わせるようになるのであった。しかし、レッド公の陰謀によって勃発した反ロボット革命派のクーデターに巻き込まれたふたりはレッド公の手に落ち、更にレッド公によって自分がロボットだと知らされショックを受けたティマは、全世界のコンピュータを支配する超コンピュータに変身すべく、自ら進んで超人の椅子に座した。だがその時、ティマを破壊しようとしたことを咎められ、レッド公によってジグラットを追放されていたロックがビルを爆破。全てが崩れ去る中、ティマも瓦礫の下敷きとなってしまう。ティマを失い愕然とビル崩壊現場を彷徨うケンイチ。そんな彼に、ロボットたちがティマの部品を集めてくれる。
