Esmé von Hoffman is an award-winning director, writer, and producer. Her acclaimed debut feature film Ovid and the Art of Love starring Corbin Bleu, John Savage and Tara Summers has made movies-to-watch lists on publications such as Entertainment Weekly, BuzzFeed, IndieWire, Variety and more. Her work has been described as "beautiful, remarkable, original" by Film Threat, "clever" by RogerEbert, and "charming" by Forbes. Previous to her feature filmmaking, she also served as a producer at the Food Network and has worked on short films for organizations such as MindBodyGreen, American Association for the Advancement of Science and Flatiron Health among others. She studied history, screenwriting, and drama at Yale University and initially worked as an actress and freelance journalist in New York before moving on to filmmaking.
