岩井秀人プロデュースの人気企画「いきなり本読み！」がWOWOWオリジナル版で登場！劇場を飛び出し、俳優たちが台本に出会う瞬間を見つめ、演劇の本質に迫る！ ２０２０年１２月に東京国際フォーラムで上演された公演回がＷＯＷＯＷで３月に放送された、岩井秀人プロデュースの舞台「いきなり本読み！」。５月からはＷＯＷＯＷオリジナル版が放送される。作家・演出家・俳優の岩井が２０２０年初頭からスタートさせた舞台イベント「いきなり本読み！」は、タイトルの文字通り、「集まった俳優たちが、それまで読んだこともない台本の“本読み”を客前でする」という企画のシリーズ。 当日集まった俳優たちは、ステージ上で岩井の読んだことのない台本を渡され、その場で配役され、いきなり台本の読み合わせを進めていく。その過程で、岩井の演出に導かれ、俳優たちが役替えをしながら形作る物語やキャラクターが総体として立ち上がっていくのが、この企画の醍醐味。 〓 今回、舞台「いきなり本読み！」のＷＯＷＯＷオリジナル版として、「その場に集まった俳優たちがいきなり台本の読み合わせをする」という枠組みをそのままに、劇場を飛び出してロケスタイルで収録を実施。 俳優たちが台本だけでなく、見知らぬ場所で体現する、スリリングな“本読み”で、俳優たちが台本に出会うその瞬間を見つめ、演劇の本質に迫る。

Following the news of a heinous tragedy, a young woman searches the streets for her missing brother, the person accused of committing the incident. Unaware of his true status or location, he finds himself in the employ of an underground fighting ring using inmates like him to entertain wealthy clients, eventually moving up the ranks of the fighters quite quickly. Eventually frustrated at the lack of information from the investigation, she turns to a detective to help him, but with a dangerous socialite also looking into the club they try to push their rescue efforts into high gear into order to save her brother.

here is a small old-fashioned shop called ‘Fuji Family’ at the foot of Mt Fuji that is a convenience store in name only. It is run by three sisters who are known for their beauty. Dependable Oguni Takako (Yakushimaru Hiroko) is the eldest sister, free-spirited Nasumi (Koizumi Kyoko), the second sister, is the complete opposite of Takako in both personality and lifestyle, and tactful Tsukimi (Mimura) is the youngest sister. Although Nasumi lived and got married in Tokyo, she abruptly came back with her husband Kinoshita Hideo (Yoshioka Hidetaka), but died suddenly of illness eight years ago. Takako finally wed Haruta Masao (Takahashi Katsumi), with whom she has had an enduring but difficult relationship, this year. The newlyweds now live in an apartment nearby but Takako constantly comes to ‘Fuji Family’.

富士山の麓にある昔ながらの自宅兼食品雑貨商店、今でいうコンビニエンスストアを営む小国笑子バアさん（片桐はいり）には三人の娘がいるがそれぞれが違った道を歩き実家の商店経営にも非協力的であった。しかしある時、笑子バアさんにだけ見えることになった他界した次女のナスミ（小泉今日子）が現れ婆ちゃんと会話することになる。 ナスミが残したメモに書かれた7つの単語「ケーキ、懐中電灯、四葉のクローバー、光太郎、ストロー、枕、コーヒー」が後に家族にまつわるターニングポイントのきっかけになることになり家族と住み込みでバイト娘のカスミ（中村ゆりか）らは自分に与えられたナスミが残した単語によってバラバラだった家族が忘れていた家族愛を取り戻していくというホームコメディドラマである。

『迷宮捜査』（めいきゅうそうさ）は、緒川怜による日本の推理小説。2015年5月10日にテレビドラマ化された。

The Japanese adaption of Agatha Christie's famous whodunit "Murder on the Orient Express".

A young, mentally retarded boy is wrongfully accused of murder, but his family lacks the means to hire an attorney to defend him. The boy’s sister, Kiriko, pleads with an accomplished attorney named Otsuka to defend her brother pro bono. But because of Otsuka’s busy schedule and other priorities, he refuses to take the case. Lacking a proper defense, Kiriko’s brother is eventually convicted of murder, and dies in prison. From that point on, Kiriko is determined to take revenge against Otuska.

Two souls were drawn to each other without any possible escape from their doomed fates. It was in an era when the country was divided in the north and the south. Ohno plays the role of Tarui Shotaro, an ordinary guy who dreamed of becoming a hero when he was a child, but now gets by as a part-time worker. The unexpected story unfolds when one day, the daughter of a yakuza boss asks him to plan a make-believe kidnapping. Sato Ryuta plays Shotaro's co-worker who helps him with the kidnapping. Kanjiya Shihori plays Satsuki, the eldest daughter of the Hanazono yakuza clan, while Narimiya Hiroki plays Satsuki's college senpai who joined the Hanazono clan after graduation. Takahashi Katsumi plays the head of a rival organization who has fallen in love with Satsuki. Kitaoji Kinya plays Satsuki's father and the head of the Hanazono clan.

A drab middle-aged man with thoughts of committing suicide and an extraordinary child prodigy plan a fake kidnap in exchange for a ransom of 10 billion yen.

The story's theme is said to be a look at how the Pacific War began, focusing mostly on the three month period between the Imperial Conference (Gozen Kaigi) on September 6, 1941, and the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

Chibi Maruko-chan (Japanese: ちびまる子ちゃん?) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Momoko Sakura. The series depicts the simple, everyday life of Momoko Sakura in the times of when she was a little girl where everyone call her Maruko and her family in suburban Japan in the year 1974. The series is set in the former city of Shimizu, now part of Shizuoka City, birthplace of its author.

Yuki, mother of the Mashiba family, is the grease that keeps this well-oiled machine running and its seven members happy and healthy. 夏休みを利用してキャンプに来ていた岬、裕介、俊也、秀隆の4人は、キャンプ最後の夜、森に落ちるまぶしい光を目撃。早速、光を追って森の中に入った4人は、そこで奇妙なロボット・テトラと出会う。こっそり持ち帰ったテトラを裕介の部屋で飼うことにした4人は、近所の発明家・神崎のところでテトラの謎を解明しようとする。一方、そのころ太平洋上に三角形の謎の巨大物体が出現する。

Koji, a jazz musician, takes a cigarette break in between sets at a Tokyo nightclub. He witnesses a murder and runs into a girl, Linda, who is being pursued by the killers. For the next two hours, Koji and Linda are running from both the hitmen and the police. Mistakenly identified as prime suspects, they have to solve the crime but time is running out: Koji has to be back to perform in his club by midnight, as a very special guest will be attending.

Three apparently unrelated suicides occur on the same day in Tokyo. One involves a young athlete, one a groom at his wedding reception, and the third an elderly man celebrating his wife's birthday. A middle aged detective investigating one of the cases begins to suspect a connection between the three when he discovers that each person mentioned a "green monkey" before they died. With the help of a young psychiatrist he formulates the theory that hypnosis is somehow involved. In the mean time other bizarre "suicides" are reported and the mystery intensifies. Who will be next? What is the truth? Can more deaths be prevented?
