A mad scientist terrorizes a city by kidnapping young women with his ape-man Gomar and then using them as subjects in sadistic brain transplant experiments. A female wrestler whose sister was one of the victims swears vengeance against the Mad Doctor.
At the dawn of the Second World War, Nazism was extending its grip over South America. The Golden Angel, a Mexican masked wrestler, was recruited by the Americans in order to flush out the spies of the Third Reich and put a stop to their nefarious schemes. The Golden Angel’s assignments, still classified Top Secret and therefore absent from the history books, even brought him to a pivotal confrontation with Hitler himself. Inspired by the spirit of classic mockumentaries such as Woody Allen’s ZELIG and Peter Jackson’s FORGOTTEN SILVER, the film takes viewers on a unique version of the fight against the Third Reich, joyfully erasing the border between fiction and reality for the viewers who, taken on this unique ride, can’t help but ask: did this really happen?
It was quite an experience to sit down with "The" Brian Kendrick and the "Intrepid Traveler" Paul London for their first ever shoot interview. They talk at great length about their careers with insight into the inner-workings of Ring of Honor, Zero One, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, UPW and other top independent promotions they worked their way through en route to WWE. These are just some of the issues addressed fearlessly by London and Kendrick in what might be the most open shoot interview ever conducted by Highspots.
