아름다운 이하토브 숲에서 태어난 고양이 부도리는 부모님과 여동생 네리와 함께 행복하게 살고 있다. 그러던 어느 날, 갑작스런 천재지변으로 부모님은 사라지고, 여동생 네리도 홀연히 나타난 수수께끼의 남자를 따라 사라진다. 마을로 내려온 부도리는 붉은 수염, 펜넨 소장, 구보 박사, 비단 공장주 등 다양한 안내자들을 만나며 씩씩하게 성장해간다. 하지만 또 다시 자연재해가 발생하고, 사랑하는 이들을 더 이상 잃고 싶지 않은 부도리는 큰 결심을 하게 되는데… 과연 부도리는 여동생을 되찾고, 이하토브를 구할 수 있을까?

첫 번째 인연, 고아원에서 도망나와 빵을 훔치다 붙잡힌 아키오. 겁에 질려 있는 그에게 형사 토오야마는 따뜻한 빵을 건넨다.. 두 번째 운명, 엄격하고 강압적인 감화원 생활 속에서 따뜻하고 다정한 요코 선생님을 만난다. 그녀로 인해 에클레르에 대한 동경과 '과자와 소녀' 노래를 의지삼아 미래의 희망을 꿈꾼다. 세 번째 악연, 감화원을 떠나 후사노 아주머니 댁에 입양된 아키오. 처음으로 가족이 생긴 기쁨에 은혜에 보답하고자 부지런히 일을 하며 돈을 벌어오지만, 사고로 잠시 일을 쉬어야 하는 지경에 이르자 후사노 아주머니의 본심을 알게 되고 크게 실망한다. 네 번째 우연, 집을 뛰쳐나온 아키오. 거리에서 떠돌다 유랑극단을 만나 잡일을 하면서 전국을 순회하며 살게 되지만, 전쟁으로 인해 극단은 해산되고 아키오는 또 다시 혼자가 된다. 다섯번째 필연, 요코 선생님은 남편을 따라 히로시마로, 아버지처럼 따랐던 토오야마 형사는 공습에 죽었다는 소식을 듣고 절망한 아키오는 결국 모든 삶의 끈을 놓기로 한다.. 거리의 고아들에 의해 다시 살아난 아키오는 새로운 꿈과 희망을 품고 씩씩하게 살아간다.

전함 야마토(大和)의 생존자와 유족을 상대로 한 방대한 취재에 기초해 쓴 헨미 준(邊見じゅん) 원작의 를 영화화한 작품. 1944년 2월 태평양 전쟁 말기, 카미오를 비롯한 소년병들이 야마토 호에 승선한다. 소년들은 야마토의 위용에 반하지만 곧바로 혹독한 훈련이 시작되고 그 속에서 소년들은 기총사수인 우치다 이병조와 취사반장인 모리와키를 존경하고 따르게 된다. 두 사람은 서로 배속된 곳이 다르지만 격렬한 유도시합으로 자신을 단련하는 인물들도 다른 하사관들과는 달랐다.같은 해 10월, 필리핀에서 벌어진 해전에 참전한 야마토 호는 미군기의 맹공을 받는다. 이 과정에서 우치다가 부상당하고 모리와키는 그를 치료실로 옮긴 뒤 당황한 소년병들을 격려하고 질책한다. 연합함대가 괴멸당한 이 전투에서 우치다는 중상을 입고 야마토를 떠난다. 1945년 3월, 출격을 앞두고 승조원들은 마지막 상륙을 허락받는다. 짧고 애절한 시간을 보내고 돌아온 그들 앞에는 군법을 어기면서까지 병원에서 도망쳐나온 우치다가 있었다. 그리고 4월 1일, 미군기가 오키나와를 공습하면서 야마토의 출격 명령이 떨어진다.

The Riot in Gujo is called one of the biggest three riots in the Edo Period as it took almost 5 years to settle and also involved the Edo government. This movie is a period film about the riot and Gujo farmers fighting for their tenacity of purpose. The farmers had suffered enough from heavy taxes and decided to rise up in riot when the domain lord, Yorikane, issued a new act, which practically forced tax increases. Asking the lord to retract the act, they pour down to the Hachiman Castle. For once they attain the repeal deed signed by the chief retainer. However the promise is broken. Now the farmers decide to make a direct plea to the Edo Residence…This film is full tension and breathless moments.

Akio's sister, Neri has separated from her boyfriend. They lived in Kamakura. She moves in with her brother. Her ex-boyfriend's sister, Eiko comes to see Neri. She wonders if the separation occurred due to her because the three of them used to live together. Eiko's brother has disappeared in the meantime.
