David Cherkaskyi (August 23, 1931, Shpola, Ukrainian SSR - October 30, 2018, Kyiv, Ukraine) is a Soviet and Ukrainian animation director, screenwriter. Honored Artist of Ukraine, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine.
