“할머니, 저예요.” 혼자 사는 노인에게 전화를 걸어 손자인 척 사기를 치고 다니며 사는 떠돌이 청년(후지와라 키세츠). 쇠락해 가는 아마쿠사 상점가의 악기상점 할머니가 그의 전화를 받고 따뜻하게 그를 받아들인다. 청년은 손자인 척 할머니와의 생활을 이어가면서 점차 마을에 정착해 간다. 마을 청년들과의 관계, 아마쿠사의 소리와 풍경, 그리고 할머니의 일상이 어느덧 그의 마음속에 자리를 잡는다.

Shino Sakuragi is an OL. She attends a wine party recommended by her boss, even though she isn't comfortable at such a fancy get together. There, Sakuragi meets Kazushi Oda.
