세이트 알리(타리크 아칸 분), 메메트 살리(하릴 에르군 분), 유서프(툰케이 액카 분) 그리고 메브르트(멜브라트 셀릭 분) 이들 모두는 터키의 서북 지역에 있는 이무랄리 섬의 감옥을 떠나 그들의 집을 향해 길고도 험한 여행길에 오른다. 유서프는 신분증을 잃어 버려 도중 체포되고 메크르트는 그리워했던 약혼자와 다시 만나게 되지만 불행히도 속박과 금지로 가득찬 가부장적 관습의 사슬에 얽매이게 된다. 메메트 살리는 아내와 아들이 머무르고 있는 처가에 가기 위해 여행을 한다. 처남과 은행을 털 때 자신의 비겁함 때문에 처남이 총에 맞고 죽은 것에 대한 죄의식과 자책감에 사로잡혀 아내와 처가 식구들의 신뢰를 되찾으려 하지만 필사적인 반대에 부딪친다. 오메르(Omer: 네크메틴 코바노그루 분)는 시리아 구경지역에 접한 인접한 고향으로 돌아가지만 터키 군대와 지방 자유투사들간의 끊임 없는 전투로 인해 폐허가 되어버린 그의 집을 발견하게 되는데...

A bear-leading gypsy from the slums struggles to get back his sweetheart who works for a pavilion runner in the city, until she feels a wistful longing for where she thinks she is belong to and turns recalcitrant against the pavilion runner.

The film tells the story of a gangster who declares war on the mafia. Canpolat is a gangster who works as a hit man. His brother is institutionalised for drug addiction. Canpolat takes action to hold accountable those who got his brother addicted to cannabis and trafficked him. However, he is injured before he can finish the mafia. When he is released from the hospital, he is thrown into prison. Adem, his old enemy, kidnaps him from the hospital and the police. His aim is to sell him to the mafia in exchange for money and to educate his daughter Hasret with this money. However, the course of events will change as some facts are revealed.
