광동지역 광동관에 습득이란 한국계 고아 소년이 있었다. 용일평은 지난날의 과오를 뉘우치고 사업에 몰두하고 있다. 한편 떠도는 노인이 있으니 소화자다. 그는 용일평과 친분이 있고 모든 과거사를 다 아는 터였다. 습득에 대해서도 물론이다. 봉화라는 소녀가 비파를 타고 광동관에 취직한다. 곧 습득과 사랑하게 된다. 용일평은 유곽지대를 뺏으려는 무리들을 쫓아내고 소화자를 불러 자기의 후계자 문제를 의논하고 습득이를 양자삼기로 한다. 습득이 소화자를 따라 무도의 길을 떠나려 할 때 소화자가 습득에게 모든 것을 알려준다. 습득의 아버지는 태권을 보급하러 이곳에 왔다가 등기룡 일파에게 당했다는 것이다. 세월이 흘러 습득과 등기룡이 대결한다.
Mang-wol, a master of martial arts, has doubts about the life he has led. Taking Yong, the son of Pak who he had nearly killed in a fight, Mang-wol disappears. As time passes, Mang-wol teaches Yong martial arts. Yong becomes an adult. He goes into the city to get medicine for Mang-wol.
