작은 공장에서 일하며 친구라곤 없이 외롭게 살고 있는 요지는 강 건너 공장에서 일하는 사치코와 점차 사랑에 빠진다. 한편 지구 곳곳에서 알 수 없는 기묘한 생물체들이 사람들에게 기생, 그들의 정신을 지배하여 소위 ‘네크로보그’라는 괴물을 만들어내고 이들 ‘네크로보그’는 생존을 위해 서로를 살육하기 시작한다.
