서래촌의 대감집 자제인 아룡은 공부보다는 각종 운동경기와 노는 것만 좋아하는 젊은 도련님으로 아버지의 눈을 피해 왕대감집 아들인 아근과 함께 놀러만 다닌다. 어느 날 아근과 함께 놀러 나온 아룡은 사라라는 예쁜 아가씨에게 반해 그녀를 차지하기 위해 서로 싸움을 벌이고 그녀로부터 오해만 낳는다. 한편, 아근의 아버지인 왕대감은 중국의 국보급 보물들을 밀매하는 밀수조직과 연계하여 보물들을 외국에 밀매하는데 간여하게 되는데 이 조직의 부두목인 '해할'은 이들의 행동을 못마땅하게 여기고 이 조직으로부터 탈퇴해 그들의 추적을 받는다. 아룡은 아근과 화해를 한 후 아근의 아버지가 쓰던 총을 몰래 갖고 나와 산에서 꿩을 잡으러 다니던 도중 우연히 부두목이 밀수조직으로부터 추적을 당하는 현장을 목격하게 되면서 이 사건에 휘말리게 되는데…

여러 무술 도장의 무예인들이 사자놀이 대회에 참가하기 위해 준비가 한창이다. 아룡(성룡 분)의 도장에는 사자놀이에 능한 사형이 있었는데, 공교롭게도 이번 대회를 앞두고 부상을 입어 출전을 하지못하게 된다. 난처해진 무술도장의 사부는 아룡을 출전시키기로 결심한다. 뜻하지 않게 대회에 참가하게 된 아룡은 최선을 다해 상대와 겨룬다. 그런데 경기 도중 상대편의 얼굴을 본 아룡은 그가 바로 자신의 도장에 있었던 사형이라는 사실을 알게 되는데...

1930 Manchuria: Seong-Jin, a member of Korean independence army, is arrested and tortured by Suzuki. Seong-Jin’s tells his colleague Min-Wuk the location of funds. Min-Wuk puts the money into the stomach of a dead hog and floats it down the river. Soon, Min-Wuk is captured by Mokosan, a gangster from Peking and Ye-Ji, a barmaid. While Suzuki arrests all of them and kills Mokosan, Min-Wuk, succeeds in arresting Suzuki and escaping, as he continues his journey along the river to deliver the funds.

Plain-clothes detective Wang is the best in his trade. One day he stumbles across a young girl's body who apparently is died of abortion. Wang investigates the guilty abortionist who leads Wang to a secret organization called "The Welfare Association". Actually it is an international prostitution racket. Wang sneaks into the association. When he is about to arrest the association's organizer, a girl, Lei, whose sister's death cause by the secret society, saves Wang in certain death. Wang arrests the organizer but has set her free from headquarter. Wang and Lei get together in getting the commander dismissed.

As the title indicates, Angela and her brother played by Carter Wong fights in a Thai kick boxing tournament. Angela Mao shows her amazing skills in this movie, and she's in her top form. The movie is also beautifully shot, and its quality is a notch or two above similar movies of the era.

제자 비비(홍금보)와 함께 상해로 가던 중국 광동성 불산 출신의 홍가권 고수 황비홍(관덕흥)은 일본인과 싸우다 죽을 위기에 처한 사자(황가달)이라는 젊은이를 구해준다. 난폭한 성격의 사자는 황비홍의 인품에 감화되어 그를 스승으로 모실 것을 맹세하고 상해까지 따라간다. 당시 상해 부두에는 미룡이라는 일본인이 폭력단을 조직하여 조선인 인부들을 착취하고 있었다. 황비홍 일행은 그들의 폭력과 착취에 맞서 싸워서 상해 부두에 평화를 찾아주고 다시 유랑의 길을 떠난다.

독립운동 단체에서 활동하는 정직은 일본군과 마찰이 일어나 도망치다가 루이 신부가 있는 성당에 몸을 숨긴다. 그 성당은 독립 단체의 수장 이준동이 일본군의 수배를 피해서 정원사로 위장해 숨어 있던 곳이었고 제자 정직으로 인해 일본군에게 이준동의 정체도 발각이 된다.

고상, 옥영, 범위는 한국에서 5년간 합기도를 배우다가 일본인과 싸움이 붙어 중국으로 돌아온다. 세 사람은 창주에 합기도 도관을 설립하고 주변 무술 선배들에게 인사를 하러 다니다 일본인이 운영하는 흑웅도관을 조심하라는 말을 듣게 된다. 범위는 소림권의 소호와 술을 마시다 공짜 술을 먹고 여자를 희롱하는 흑웅무관 놈들을 혼내준다. 범위에게 앙심을 품은 흑웅무관 사람들이 찾아와 시비를 걸자 오해를 풀기 위해 고상은 흑웅무관에 인사를 하러 가지만 그 사이에 범위가 어시장에서 흑웅무관 녀석들을 죽이는 바람에 중상을 입고 돌아온다. 범위는 사형의 복수를 하려 하지만 인내하라는 사부님의 명 때문에 흑웅무관 사람들을 피해 몸을 숨긴다. 그러나 범위를 숨겨준 소호가 미행을 당해 소호와 범위 둘 다 흑웅무관 사람 손에 죽고 만다. 흑웅무관 관장은 옥영의 실력이 마음에 들어 합기도를 흡수 합병하려 하고 이에 옥영은 흑웅무관을 쑥대밭으로 만들고 사형과 함께 몸을 피한다. 도관에 흑웅무관 사람들이 있다는 소리를 들은 옥영은 도관으로 가 그들을 처리하고 서신을 받고 한국에서 찾아온 대사형을 만나 결판을 내기 위해 흑웅무관으로 향하는데...

로마에서 중국 식당을 경영하는 진청화(묘가수)는 폭력 조직이 영업을 방해하자 홍콩의 삼촌에게 도움을 청한다. 이에 홍콩에서 온 당룡(이소룡)이라는 쿵푸 청년이 로마에 도착한다. 가라데를 배우는 종업원들은 그를 과소평가하지만 폭력배들을 쿵푸로 혼내주는 그를 보고는 생각을 달리한다. 계속 부하들이 당하자 두목은 진청화를 납치하여 강제로 계약서에 서명을 시키려 하나 당룡의 일행에 의해 무산되고 만다. 이들은 당룡에게 맞설 수 있는 무술인들을 미국, 유럽, 일본에서 불러들이고 당룡은 콜로세움에서 콜트(척 노리스)와의 최후의 대결을 벌이기 시작하는데...
