인기 록밴드의 리타리스트 울프는 어느 날 우연히 자신의 팬인 에이스라는 소년을 만난다. 자신을 돕기 위해 부상을 당한 울프에게 영원한 록앤롤을 강조한 울프는 그와 함께 여행길에 오른다. 둘이 도착한 마을은 좀비들이 장악하고 있는 유령 마을이었는데... 로큰롤의 신봉자 에이스는 인기 있는 밴드의 기타리스트 울프의 열렬한 팬이다. 에이스는 라이브 하우스에서 공연이 끝난 울프를 만날 생각에 가슴이 부푼다. 그런데 울프의 밴드는 질이 좋지 않은 라이브 하우스 주인인 캡틴과 총을 견주며 대치한다. 이를 지켜보던 에이스는 “로큰롤은 불멸한다”며 거기로 뛰어들지만 상처를 입고 넘어지고 만다. 울프는 에이스와 피로써 로큰롤 형제를 맺고 증표를 걸어준 뒤 사라진다. 한편 에이스는 우연히 지나던 주유소에서 토비오를 만나 서로 한눈에 사랑에 빠진다. 그러나 에이스가 들어선 마을은 무서운 귀신들의 마을이었다. 토비오를 구해 같이 도망을 가지만 둘은 위험에 처한다. 공연이 끝난 울프는 에이스가 위험에 처해 있음을 느끼고 구하러 간다. 그들은 피로 맺어진 로크롤 형제이므로. 그런데 이런 사실을 알게 된 캡틴은 울프를 죽이기 위해 그들 뒤를 쫓는다 . 귀신들의 마을에서 한바탕 쫓고 쫓기는 긴박한 상황이 벌어지게 되는 것이다. 불을 뿜는 마이크, 오토바이, 그리고 캡틴의 차, 바람을 부르는 기타, 가죽옷에 머리모양이 전형적인 로큰롤의 이미지이다. 음악과 영상의 연결이 마치 한 편의 뮤직 비디오를 보는 듯 하다. 실제 다케우치 감독은 뮤직 비디오를 여러 편 연출한 경력을 통해 이번 영화를 만들었다. 영화에서 환영으로 에이스에게 나타나 외치는 울프의 이야기는 이 영화를 단순한 음악영화로서가 아니라 인간에 대한 편견 없는 사랑과 로큰롤에 대한 애정을 그린 작품으로 승화시킨다.
