Sinopse
Tom (Fred Astaire) e Ellen Bowen (Jane Powell) são dois irmãos que apresentam um ato musical e de dança na cidade de NY. Quando sua temporada de shows se encerra, seu agente marca apresentações em Londres no período do Casamento Real. Eles embarcam em um cruzeiro para chegar à Inglaterra, onde a aparência de inocente de Ellen ( que na verdade é a versão feminina de Don Juan )encanta o Lorde John Brindale (Peter Lawford) e os dois acabam se envolvendo. O affair de Ellen e John faz com que ela perca ensaios com o irmão Tom, que percebe que a garota não leva a vida de dançarina tão a sério. Chegando a Londres, além de participar de diversas audições, Tom acaba conhecendo Ann (Sarah Churchill), por quem acaba se apaixonando.Agora os irmãos encontram-se completamente indecisos entre suas paixões e a vida de dançarinos.

Maya Deren’s shortest, two-minute A Study in Choreography for Camera seems like an exercise piece to capture a dancer’s movement on celluloid, which later on developed into her masterpieces such as Ritual in Transfigured Time and Meditation on Violence.
