Tania Fedorova (Garbo), uma espiã soviética no mundo pré-guerra, seduz o capitão do exército Karl Von Raden (Nigel), com intenção de furtar documentos secretos. Enquanto o austríaco Von Raden assiste à ópera, numa noite, conhece Tania. Após a performance, ele a leva para sua casa, e os dois passam o dia seguinte em um passeio romântico. Wunder der Schöpfung is an extraordinary, fascinating Kulturfilm trying to explain the whole human knowledge of the 1920s about the world and the universe. 15 special effects experts and 9 cameramen were involved in the production of this film which combines documentary scenes, historical documents, fiction elements, animation scenes and educational impact. It its beautifully colored, using tinting and toning in a very elaborated way. Some visual ideas in the sequences with a space shuttle visiting different planets in the universe seem to have to be the inspiration for Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey.

An isolated house is too remote for a lone servant, who leaves a note, quietly exits the back door, and puts the key under the mat. Left alone in the house is a mother and her infant. A tramp has watched the servant leave and begins to skulk. When the lady of the house sees him outside as he discovers the key, she's terrified and desperately phones her husband, who's at work in town. He jumps into a car that's idling in front of his office and races toward home, the car's owner, and police, in hot pursuit.

Pelos padrões do período, foi uma obra ambiciosa e prodigiosa, bem como épica em tempo de execução, já que é de uma época em que a maioria dos filmes duravam apenas alguns minutos. Em cada uma das sequências, Guy procura ritualizar a vida e a morte de Cristo com uma série de ações gestuais, em que as fases da vida de Cristo podem ser segmentadas em uma série de performances tableaux.
