Cesar Mora (born October 2, 1961) is a leading musician and actor in Colombia. He was born in Cali,[1] and later spent fourteen years as part of the famed Son Del Pueblo band. Cesar composed the songs in the Colombian musical "Y Se Armo La Mojiganga" in which he also played the main character. His most recent albums are recorded with The Maria Canela Band under the musical direction of Luis Arroyo. His most notable film role is Sargento Juvenal Garcia on El Zorro, la espada y la rosa. He won the Simón Bólivar Prize for Television in 1988 for his role in El Confesor.

The Deal
Based on a true story of a British television crew that travelled to Colombia to film a fake documentary about drug trafficking. In one scene, shot in the director’s hotel room, an actor played the part of a character whom the filmmakers passed off as Cali Cartel’s Number Three. They claimed they had risked their lives to get the interview. One sequence also shows a man pretending to swallow capsules of heroine and transporting them to London in his stomach. This phoney TV documentary is an international smash hit. When a London daily discovers that the whole thing is a hoax, a team of British journalists are sent out to Colombia to cover the story. Emerson Roque Fierro, former policeman and private investigator shadowing, investigates the murder of "Golondrina", a beautiful young woman, occurred in a seedy hotel in downtown Bogota. Without knowing who it is, begins to understand their relationships with a motley gallery of men: a corrupt politician, connected to drug trafficking and paramilitary groups, a bullfighter cunning and good for nothing, a boxer fallen on hard times with a force so stupid as rare Lotero intellect and an insightful blind.
