Rie is a PR-coordinator visiting a tunnel boring machine to portray the well-oiled European cooperation in the Metro construction when an accident suddenly occurs. Unable to escape, she takes refuge in an airlock with Croatian miner Ivo and Bharan, a worker from Eritrea.

Louise (Ellen Dorrit Petersen) e Kasper (Peter Christoffersen) são um casal dinamarquês que vivem em uma isolada ilha, afastados da vida moderna, tecnologias e até mesmo da eletricidade. O maior sonho de Louise é ser mãe, porém, ela não pode engravidar. Desesperada, ela toma uma decisão e faz um pacto com sua empregada romena, Elena (Cosmina Stratan), que aceita ser barriga de alugal do filho da patroa em troca de uma grande quantidade de dinheiro. Grávida, a vida crescendo dentro de Elena toma forma muito rápido, afetando a vida de todos de forma sombria e gerando paranóias e medos.

Michael lives in a housing project. He and his friends make music together. Michael is clearly the biggest talent in the group, and one day he is discovered by the established rapper Apollo who makes Michael his ghostwriter. A big opportunity for Michael, this also means moving forward without his friends and breaking the unwritten rule of loyalty. Michael focuses on his music, hoping that the situation will resolve itself. As his friends lose their patience, a dramatic showdown is inevitable.
