10 and Virginia
Producer
This story isn't about how ten old men came together and got ready to die. This story isn't about how they cry every night reminiscing about their past either. This story isn't even about how ten old men decided to rob a bank with zero know-how. It isn't even about Antoine's recipes and Ali's songs, though they will be in our story. Get ready to learn the most important thing - this story is about Virginia. In the Lebanese mountains, not far from Beirut, in a nondescript building, ten homeless lonely but not unhappy old men live. You can't say that they are totally happy, but they try to be, to be happy in their own way.

The old man outlived everyone. His friends, wife, children. But he wasn't lonely. An old fridge buzzed hoarsely in the corridor, and - substituted for friends and family. Every evening he lay down to die. Waking up the next morning he shambled to the fridge. Every day he would sit down opposite the fridge and write: "8.00 - turned on; 9.15 - turned off; 9.47 - turned on...". That day started as usual. The old man woke up alive and headed to the porch. The fridge was in particular nasty. The old man got angry and switched on TV - for the first time in years. It changed his life forever.

Joseph Brodsky. Conversation with a celestial
Producer
The film is based on an interview in New York in 1993 between critic Solomon Volkov and poet Joseph Brodsky. Behind the scenes, the poet answers the questions of the journalist. The conversation, in the end, covers almost the entire life of Brodsky. We are faced with the dramatic story of a man who categorically refuses to dramatize it. The story of a poet who gained in full, but lost immeasurably more.
