Blueberry Spirits is a poetic documentary about a Roma family that spends its summers in the Latvian forests, picking berries to make a living. While harvesting the fruits of the forest, they reflect on their identity as a group by sharing ghost stories.

They met on Christmas Eve, beyond one's usual living-space: at the morgue. In an outburst of feelings, they try to manipulate each other in order to get what they want. She wants him, but he wants to vanish – following the rules of black comedy, neither one of them will get anything.

A poetic portrait of the western coastline of Latvia that, accompanied by songs about fish and the sea, roaring of vessel engines and factory alacrity, gives a glimpse into the life by the sea where the smell of fish and sea water is still present.

Gutenmorgen is an eccentric family man who tends to see his life in bright colours. In order to improve his failing eyesight, Gutenmorgen decides to open a third eye. Gutenmorgen begins mediating with a self-proclaimed guru and hopes that this unconventional activity will make his family and friends appreciate him just a little bit more.

After the death of Yanek’s father, his mother, whom he hasn’t seen for years, visits him and makes claims on the flat where he and his father lived. He meets his stepbrother Norberth, who insists on staying with him. During a quarrel, Yanek’s finger gets cut-off. His mother visits him in the hospital and follows him home...

It's Sofka's birthday and she gets a lamp which is the beginning of her dream. But there's a misunderstanding and someone takes Sofka’s lamp away. Because of a friend’s principles of justice, Sofka winds up in a criminal situation.

A young married housewife's dull routine is enlivened as she spies on the sexual escapades of her fencing instructor neighbour. She too is seduced by him, but the fear of losing her family results in hysteria and an unpredictable climax.
