Yûko Genkaku

A story about a woman from Yanaka Village, Tochigi Prefecture, which was abolished by the government due to the Ashio Copper Mine pollution incident in the late Meiji Period. The drama depicts the struggle of the woman who gradually matures as a person through her encounters with versatile figures, including socialists and writers, after moving to Tokyo.

There's a young couple, Haruka and Kenji. One day, Haruka gets disappointed in Kenji, and runs away with their son, Takuya. They forward to Kenji's friend, Mitsuru's house. Yet, Haruka asks her mother, Kiyoko to take care of Takuya, and starts her job hunting, since she can't get along with Mitsuru. On the other hand, there is another young couple, Takuma and Kana. Even though, they look happily married for two years, Takuma hides a secret from Kana. One day, Takuma's co-worker, Akita comes to Takuma's house. Akita suddenly tells one secret to Kana while Takuma is not around. Shocked Kana attempts to reveal the secret on Takuma's way home.

Narumi, who has an aggressive personality, stabbed her colleague and went to prison. After serving her time, Narumi is released and goes back to her hometown where she grew up. Narumi goes to her younger brother Kei's home. At a young age, their parents died in a accident and Kei is the only one left Narumi can rely on. After Narumi sees Kei and his girlfriend Kana living together happily, Narumi decides to take her brother back. Narumi reveals a secret between her and Kei.

Это закон.» С этого момента Кэй, Като и остальные выжившие вынуждены участвовать в странной и страшной игре.

… Темнота. Ты умер, и ты воскрес в странной комнате, где есть черный глянцевый шар и множество других людей, умерших, как и ты, совсем недавно. И тут возникает очень правильный вопрос — что происходит? Вряд ли это имеет какое-либо отношение к религии, это не ад, не чистилище и вот уж точно не рай. Обычная комната в отеле с обшарпанными стенами и приятным видом на Токио из окна. Обычная комната, не считая того, что единственная мебель в ней — это огромный черный шар. Но это мелочь по сравнению с тем, что хотя твои пальцы проходят сквозь ручку двери, ты не можешь её открыть. Нет, ты не призрак, твое сердце бьется, ты дышишь и даже очень неплохо себя чувствуешь для человека, которого пару минут назад сбил поезд. Что же ждет тебя дальше?

Ayako (Akazawa), a housewife who spends her days nursing her father-in-law and taking care of her husband, bumps into her former lover Keisuke (Ueda Koichi), who is now married and has became a cleaner. When Ayako was a junior high school student fourteen years ago, she was involved in a forbidden love affair with Keisuke who had been a teacher at the time.

Mina is running away from her abusive boyfriend and wants to stay at Hiroko's home

Ichiro Sasaki, 35, is working for a small training school in Tokyo. Though his work and his life are rather dull, he at least gets along somewhat well with his young daughter. He recieves a phone call one day, informing him of the sudden death of one of his colleagues. Shortly after this shocking news, his wife who is now living apart cuts him down further by telling him, "You don't see anything." While walking in the night, Ichiro is struck by an idea: why don't we go there? He heads off holding his daughter's hand. And thus begins a strange little tale of an ordinary father and his daughter.

Many excuses lie between each and every couple, when they look back the distance created during the long years in which they took each other for granted... Love Letters sent from husbands to wives and from wives to husbands, quietly voice their unspoken appreciation for each other over the years that they have shared. The original idea comes from the postcard project "Love Letters at Sixty" which has brought a wave of sympathy to the precious emotions shared by many married couples.

Film about Sakamoto Ryōma. The focus is on Oryo, the maid who became Ryoma’s wife and lived with him for one year before his death.

This documentary-style film recreates the infamous Asama Sanso Incident of 1972 wherein an extreme faction of the Students Allied Red Army holed themselves up in a mountainous cabin in the dead of winter. By the time the police finally caught up with them, it was discovered that they had murderously turned upon themselves in a bizarre extension of their radical philosophy. This event virtually marked the end of the Student Revolution.
