About the wedding day of Seto Ryosuke, an elementary school teacher, and Aikawa Mizuki, a lemon farmer. Right before the ceremony, Mizuki finds out that his partner didn't tell his parents, relatives, and friends that he is marrying a man. This discovery starts a series of events the two have to face, like a furious outburst of Ryosuke's father, a big fight between heads of the two families, as well as an appearance of Mizuki's ex-boyfriend.

The inspiration for this romantic film is the "Kiss Cam" carried out at sporting events in which a couple selected from the crowd by a TV camera must kiss for all to see. Yuzuru Hamura (Ryunosuke Kamiki) is a university student and a fan of mystery novels. Against his will, he was forced to join the school's mystery club. These 3 people attend a summer camp and stay at Shijinso pension in the mountains. On their first day there, they must barricade themselves in the pension. Chieko Sanda has operated a dry goods store in Kyoto for the past 20 years. Her family has owned the store for generations. Chieko is conflicted on whether her daughter Mai will take over her position with the changing of times. Mai is a college student and has not decided whether to take another job or take over the dry goods store. Meanwhile, Mitsuko Nakata runs a forestry in the outskirts of Kyoto. Mitsuko is Chieko Sanda’s twin sister, but they were separated at an early age. Mitsuko is in serious financial difficulties. Mituko's daughter, Yui, has talent in art and she goes to France. There, Yui feels a sense of powerlessness. Mitsuko notices and goes to Paris to see her daughter. Mai travels to Paris to take part in an event to show Japanese culture.

While a gang of high school girls randomly beats lone men at night, the photo of a young woman who has been declared missing is used to design a template which is painted on each wall of a small suburban town.

As a child, Ono Tsubasa saw a Shirato baseball game on TV and was amazed at the Trumpet player in the band playing. Now, in order to play the Trumpet, she enters Shirato High School. Tetsuo Togami (Shono Hayama) is in the 2nd grade of high school. Due to a fight, he is hospitalised. There, he meets Maiko Takashiro (Chika Arakawa). She has an incurable disease. She also has a hearing disability and is unable to talk. At first, Tetsuo becomes embarrassed, but begins exchanging text messages with Maiko. Through the text messages he begins having feelings for her. Even after his discharge from the hospital, he goes to visit Maiko everyday. They promise to go out together on Maiko's birthday, but her condition worsens.
