Та в ответ заливисто хохочет: «Я бы тоже хотела это знать!» На самом деле таких мест – особенно за пределами больших городов – в ГДР почти не было. Лесбиянки жили в условиях тотальной информационной изоляции. Фильм Барбары Валльбраун состоит из шести историй. Шесть женщин откровенно рассказывают о том, как влюблялись, как боролись с давлением общества и семьи, как находили и поддерживали друг друга.

Perro and his grandmother fear for their homeland in southern Nicaragua, an area which is threatened by the planned construction of the 300-km-long "El Gran Canal". The documentary accompanies the silent and nature-loving boy amidst the inevitable farewell to his old life in the jungle and his new beginnings in the city.

An airstrip, a hangar and a classroom somewhere in rural Ghana: This is the place where 18-year-old Lydia and 20-year-old Esther hope to achieve their dream: learning how to fly. They have joined the first aviation school for girls in West Africa. There, an ambitious Englishman wants to train young women from rural areas to become pilots. Yet, during training and everyday life at the Aviation Academy Western ideals collide with African values, and the girls gradually realize, that their dream of flying comes at a price.
