Окончил графический факультет Киевского Государственного художественного института (1965). С 1960 года – в творческом объединении художественной мультипликации студии «Киевнаучфильм». Как режиссёр дебютировал в 1966 году. Преподаёт в Киевском Государственном театральном институте на факультете анимационного кино. Член АСИФА. Снялся в фильме из цикла «Анимация от А до Я» (1998).

He clearly recalls the events as if they were yesterday, and mean the same thing, as if those are not matter of days gone by, but his present, which is perceived to heart and soul. There is he and his beloved dog, and there are his parents.

A morning tram over-occupied with passengers, but more and more people are trying to get in there. Inside, the life fountains. Someone talks about their troubles with children, somebody experiences a personal trauma, others can not stand up to quarrel, neighbors discuss a TV-series... All the events where usually, at least in the days this cartoon was created, common Ukrainians are involved in on their way to job-places is shown in this curious, vivid and witty claymation.

When white spots appear on a black background to symbolize light and fire, the battle begins between two principles, traditionally represented by the opposing colors. Their fight is filled with whimsical drawings and designs, and music helps to clearly capture the growing anxiety. But maybe they both will not be able to defeat each other, so it's time to compromise?
