At 88 years old, my grandfather Fernando suggested that we make a film together. His proposal comes when I tell him I'm moving out of his house. So we started filming, me with my camera and he with his. Although we have lived together for more than 20 years, it is through the camera that we see each other like never before. That Breath is an intimate record of our bond, love and loss, in search of understanding what it means to be alive.

Cecilia and Carlos, a daughter and a father, inspired a Norwegian play written by Elin Moe that deals with the consequences left in their lives by the Uruguayan dictatorship. Cecilia directed this film close to the premiere of the play, where Carlos talks about his unspoken truth: his years in prison and his exile.

They depart from Uruguay for Europe to disembark in Paris in its "Crazy Years" where, against all odds, Olympic glory and the amazement of the whole world awaited them. This feat would be the first of others to come in 1928 and 1930.

Gáspar is a public employee and Rebeca works in a funeral home,they reflect the discontent of a generation that has suffered the vicissitudes of Chile in the 1980s. Through it, the film explores how the working middle class survives such a convulsive environment.
