Genre : History, Drama

Runtime : 5M

Director : James Newhook

Synopsis

Based on the true story from Marion Counsel, it tells of the troubles her mother had trying to make a dress for her communion in 1958. When all hope is lost, and with no one else to ask, a silk parachute falls from the sky, almost as it was a gift from above. Thanks to some creative ingenuity and sewing, she was able to turn this random silk parachute into a beautiful silk dress, and in turn, a memorable story from her days on Red Island.
