Synopsis
Whitney Cummings 6th stand-up special.
"Hysterical", "unmissable", "magnificent", "profound" are all words. Coincidentally, Wake N Bake, Rohan Joshi's first stand-up special, also has words. After almost a decade in comedy, one of India's foremost comedians and online has words to say about life in one's thirties, home renovation, (thrilling, we know), not being cut out for marriage or roadtrips, and living a 420- friendly life (oh so now we have your attention. Typical). Some of those words are even funny. The seamless hour-long narrative is a tour of all the things that keep Rohan up at night, which, as it turns out, is pretty trivial stuff, because he's basic like that. It's an hour of comedy you'll never forget for five minutes.
The show, recorded at London's magnificent Royal Albert Hall, is Bill's own hilarious and irreverent guide to the sounds, styles, and instruments of the orchestra, with a wide and eclectic range of subjects, including music for '70s cop shows, sci-fi films, horror movies, news themes, plus some of Bill's own songs re-imagined for an orchestra, and including Anne's own specially written new works.
Welcome to the Roisin Dubh, Galway’s legendary trad music venue. It's a place of magic and the place where Des Bishop chose to film his latest, internationally acclaimed stand up show Desfunctional. Stand-up comic Fakkah Fuzz mines cross-cultural humor from the experience of growing up as an outspoken Malay man in Singapore.
Performing at a bar, Mexican stand-up comedian Mau Nieto dishes on his modest upbringing, his failed relationships and his attempts to stay sober.
Argentine comedian Sebastián Wainraich highlights the comedy in everyday life, from minibars to reasons why funerals are better than weddings.
“The League’s” Steve Rannazzisi hits Boston’s Wilbur stage with his tales of life, marriage and yes, being a dad. A really funny dad.
Setting his sights on self-serious comedy, Mark Forward rants about everything from death, bears, and nursery rhymes in this physical, absurdist, and wildly unpredictable one-hour comedy special from Just For Laughs.
This biting and sidesplitting special follows comedian Dave ('Kids in the Hall,' 'NewsRadio') Foley's struggle to survive in a world that seems intent on crushing common sense - featuring everything from people who don't believe in science to his ex-wife.
Live performance by English comedian and TV presenter Alan Carr, recorded during his 2015 'Yap, Yap, Yap!' tour of the UK and Ireland.
After more than 40 years of belly-bursting gags and outrageously offensive laughs, the world’s bluest stand-up is finally hanging up his helmet. Join Chubbs for his last ever live DVD, filmed in front of a live audience in August 2015 and featuring brand new material that’s fatter, funnier and filthier than ever. One thing’s for sure, age hasn’t mellowed him. Don’t miss your chance to witness the end of an era, as the original bad boy of British comedy goes out with a bang.
John Bishop’s back!
