The Act of Seeing with One's Own Eyes (1971)

Likely in June 1897, a group of people are standing along the platform of a railway station in La Ciotat, waiting for a train. One is seen coming, at some distance, and eventually stops at the platform. Doors of the railway-cars open and attendants help passengers off and on. Popular legend has it that, when this film was shown, the first-night audience fled the café in terror, fearing being run over by the "approaching" train. This legend has since been identified as promotional embellishment, though there is evidence to suggest that people were astounded at the capabilities of the Lumières' cinématographe.

Jesus presents the lamb to the priest, and the priest tests Him by asking some questions about the law. Jesus' answers are correct and the priest congratulates Him.

While waiting for the lecturer, Judge Rummy notices that Silk Hat Harry's Soda Fountain is remarkably popular, so he stops in to see what it's all about. The first sequence of the Hearst Castle was rotoscoped from Steven Lisberger's film and animated in Cosmic Cartoon. Lisberger did much of the matte painting, figure rotoscoping and airbrush painting, and Eric Ladd did the Earth rotation animation.

Mowgli's Brothers is a 1976 television animated special created by legendary animator Chuck Jones. It is based from the first chapter of Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book of the same name.
