A man endeavors to collect memories of his grandparents who died in a concentration camp during the Holocaust.

Follows the relationship between two couples: An unemployed professor, Fernando, sustained by his factory worker girlfriend Rita, and sexist and reactionary Luís Carlos and inexperient Lilita.

Flora is a happy housewife but suffer a serious accident and loses her husband and gets her face terribly burned.
