Synopsis
An overweight California slob hears his brother's been killed in Tijuana and goes down to investigate. Once there he meets an odd assortment of characters, all of whom either knew his brother or in some way were involved with him.
A married couple loses their children while on a family trip near some caves in Tijuana. The kids eventually reappear without explanation, but it becomes clear that they are not who they used to be, that something terrifying has changed them.
In Babel, a tragic incident involving an American couple in Morocco sparks a chain of events for four families in different countries throughout the world.
