Filmed as part of the VH1 Storytellers series, Taylor Swift performed a live acoustic concert on October 15, 2012 at the Bridges Auditorium, after the Harvey Mudd College won the "Taylor Swift on Campus" contest.

For his release "Battle Studies" Grammy award winner John Mayer goes on the acclaimed show VH1 Storytellers. He plays songs from all his previous albums, and tells the stories that goes into his writing and understanding of them. Filmed 10 December 2009 in Brooklyn and aired 28 January 2010. He discusses the stories behind such songs as “Your Body Is a Wonderland," "Daughters," "Heartbreak Warfare" and "Who Says."

Green Day performs their entire American Idiot album in front of a mostly small and intimate live audience, and tell stories about their music, writing experiences and memories. Filmed in Culver City, California.

Opening with a performance of their 2009 hit “Sex On Fire,” Kings Of Leon become the focus of this VH1 Storytellers 50-minute special. The Tennessee hailing band play a live set of material spanning their six-album career to this date in 2011, sharing the stories and inspiration behind several of their songs with anecdotes along the way and ending on, of course, the song many of us fell in love with them for – “Use Somebody.”

This episode of VH1 Storytellers is broadcast on November 22, 2000 to coincide with the release of the tribute album Stoned Immaculate: The Music Of The Doors. All of the performers joining The Doors on this program also appear on the album. This performance would mark the last time that Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger, and John Densmore ever reunited to play live together as The Doors. ZZ Top might seem like something of a challenge for the VH1 "Storytellers" series because while this Texas blues-rock band has a secure spot in music history, its three members don't have a reputation for being all that chatty. Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill - the two bearded guys out front - are droll and funny. So is drummer Frank Beard, the one without a beard. But they've mostly let their music talk over the 40 years they've been playing together. This show comes across more as a ZZ Top greatest-hits concert, which certainly won't disappoint ZZ Top fans.
