As bass guitarist for a garage-rock band, Scott Pilgrim has never had trouble getting a girlfriend; usually, the problem is getting rid of them. But when Ramona Flowers skates into his heart, he finds she has the most troublesome baggage of all: an army of ex-boyfriends who will stop at nothing to eliminate him from her list of suitors.

The antics of these kids, their families, of the "West German" friends and relatives who come to visit, and of the East German border guards, all serve to illustrate the absurdity of everyday life on the Sonnenallee, and therefore throughout the former East Germany.

Max, Aaron and Glen have a track record littered with strike-outs and misfit hook-ups. The boys embark on a mission to up their hot babe batting average. They meet Hollywood Casanova Johnny Eyelash who teaches these boys the game of scoring A-list arm candy. But there is one problem, the girls are organized, cunning and have an agenda of their own. Its not long before the girls, led by Big Wendy and Little Wendy pick up on Johnny's tactics and Hollywood becomes one big booby trap.

From the youth directed novel of the same name by Greogor Tressnow comes a film by Detlev Buck that is a realistic portrait of life in the section of Berlin called Neukölln. It’s about power and weakness, delinquents and victims, and the difficulties a 15-year-old faces in a poor and criminal environment.

The Dijon Story dives with unexpected consequences into the life of four Finnish hipsters in Berlin.

On December 20, 2012, the eve of what may be the end of the world, Stacey decides he wants to see his ex-girlfriend, Parker. Though not entirely convinced of impending doom, Stacey convinces Parker to embrace the notion that this might be the end, and she agrees to spend the day with him, making sure to fit as much into these final moments as possible. Stacey and Parker bump into old friends and fall into old patterns, all the while struggling to embrace the present and not focus on the past.

The three siblings Hassan, Lial and Maradona are successfull dancers and musicians. But their family is in danger of being deported out of Germany. The teenagers plan to use their artistic talents to save the family. However the pressure has put a strain on their relationships, and the way to success is long and uncertain.

Claire purchases an antique educational toy that reignites fond memories from childhood and lays bare the sorry state her life is now in.
