Two men in 1930s Mississippi become friends after being sentenced to life in prison together for a crime they did not commit.

A young widow discovers that her late husband has left her 10 messages intended to help ease her pain and start a new life.

Years have passed since the Three Musketeers, Aramis, Athos and Porthos, have fought together with their friend, D'Artagnan. The robot doubles actually succeed in killing Bill and Ted, but the two are determined to escape the afterlife, challenging the Grim Reaper to a series of games in order to return to the land of the living.
