Filmed entirely on location in Alaska comes Kusah Hakwaan - a dramatic feature film that takes its name from a demonic Tlingit Indian witch who lives in the spirit worlds of Southeast Alaska. In a dark, fire-lit Clan House, a Tlingit Elder moves moves between the contemporary and spirit worlds as he reveals the centuries-old legend of Kusah Hakwaan. He tells a gripping story of evil, heroism, brotherly rivalry, and the ancient Trickster Raven. With innovative visual-effects, compelling action scenes, and breathtaking footage, the production weaves together creation myths to explain the unknown. The resulting story echoes the Tlingit's esteemed tribal values, ancient traditions, and the influence of the all-knowing spiritual world.
