Synopsis

Haus Kummerveldt takes place in the late 19th century in the Münsterland and focuses on emancipation. Our leading role Luise von Kummerveldt wants to live free from the compulsion and conventions of her noble family and the patriarchal society and work as an author. But as a women in the Wilhelmine kingdom her freedom of action is as tight as her corset.
